I got it! You got it? Theres three types of people in this world. Followers, Leaders, and nobodies.
Leaders: People who start something and take control over an idea. People who have a goal mission or dream that they try to accomplish. People who you can listen to and look up to. Bold, courageous, Creative. Think on the dot, are the least to give up. Always thinking of new ideas, and are inspired by the ones around them or by what they learned. People who believe in something and keep going. Those who take charge when in chaotic times.
"Warren G. Bennis:
The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born -- that there is a genetic factor to leadership. This myth asserts that people simply either have certain charismatic qualities or not. That's nonsense; in fact, the opposite is true. Leaders are made rather than born."
"Winston Churchill:
The price of greatness is responsibility."
Followers: Servants, teammates, brothers, people whop you can depend on. People who believe. Those you can count on when your in doubt. Support, build. Those who multiply and back you up. People who give themselves up to obey, trusting. Trustworthy. Faithful, dependent. Those who folllow without cease due to conviction. Flexible (like willing to change), eccentric. All around, useful, humble.
"“True leadership must be for the benefit of the followers, not the enrichment of the leaders.”"
"“The Bible promises us that Jesus will return to take His faithful followers with Him to live with Him in His glorious presence forever. Everyone else will be left behind to face God's wrath and judgment. If Jesus were to return today, do you know if He would take you with Him to heaven?”"
Nobodies: The "cool" people who dont make a difference, they just work within the box and do what everyone else is doing. They basically just take up space because they can not find a better reason to live than to live for the time-being. pity.
In America there is an American Promise to achieve on our own. To depend on our own. But Jesus has a different mindset. He wants us to humble ourselves by becoming servants and depending on him. Its so hard to be a christian in America, but we gotta shine for him you guys. Its not all about getting what you can for yourself, but getting what you can to benefit the kingdom.
P.S. my knees keep popping everytime i sit and straigten them out. =[
